I have made a decision. I am not going to run for president. I know this is going to disappoint my many supporters who believe I can solve all the problems in the world. It’s true, of course, I could. However, I have an idiosyncrasy that disqualifies me as a presidential candidate.
I like being nice to people. It makes me happy.
I also believe in being kind, thoughtful, reasonable, and respectful.
Apparently many see this as weakness rather than strength. They have no idea how tough and determined people like me can be. Just ask my husband although he may add the word, “stubborn.”
So I guess I’ll just be nice to my family, friends and strangers on the street—postpone my presidential ambitions until the world is more receptive.
